We are looking for a dynamic, results-orientated and proven HVACD product Sales expert to join our team to accelerate the growth of our HVACD solutions in the Western United States.
Working out of our head office located in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is responsible for driving the sale of Air2O solutions primarily through Manufacturer’s Representatives, Engineers and contractors. The role involves partnering with local sales resources to build effective relationships with Manufacturers Reps, Engineers, Contractors and Owners with the results being to identify, target, qualify, and sell Air2O solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Provide Engineering support to Educate and sell the benefits of Air2O solutions confidently to engineers, manufacturer reps, on tractors and building owners while reaching optimal profit levels. Focuses on demonstrating value of Air2O’s offering at the executive level by providing solutions to business, engineers and financial challenges.
- Demonstrates financial and business acumen to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment with customers.
- Differentiates Air2O’s products, solutions and services from competitors based on business benefits and knowledge of competitor’s business strategies and offerings. Engages appropriate sales, legal and financial resources where necessary.
- Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with prospective customers. Develop a network of contacts. Understands and leverages sales process checkpoints. Refers leads to other business segments.
- Determines and implements selling strategy, manages the sales process, supports engineers in product selection/requirements/scope/specifications, supports budget development, sells the value of Air2O’s offering, conducts site and/or site visits, develops proposals, supports scope comparisons, negotiates pricing and closes orders.
- Works with various internal and external resources in order to quote prices, establish terms and conditions of contracts and prepare sales contracts
- Continually evaluates existing sales tools assessing their effectiveness along with the need for additional sales tools.
What we are ideally looking for;
The ideal candidate for this position is familiar with the HVACD industry and has an acute attention for detail and extensive industry contacts and networks. They are analytical and experienced with organizing all aspects of the sales process. This person ideally would have a BA or higher degree and a minimum 3 years of related experience. They must also be able to work well in a team environment. Essential attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to multitask while remaining focused in high-pressure situations. In addition you should be a self-starter, willing to take responsibility, have a positive customer-focused attitude and be resourceful, and enthusiastic about this position and company.
Ideal Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
Must have 3-5 years of experience in HVACD product sales and lead generation
Strong technical knowledge of products and solutions, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide the best solutions.
Effective sales and negotiation skills.
High standard of personal presentation.
Territory management experience.
Willingness to travel frequently
Experience with Salesforce CRM for B2B businesses
